Former Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has launched his football agency, Rookie & Champ, to guide young talents, especially from his native Berlin.
With his own experiences of highs and lows, Boateng aims to counsel young players against the pitfalls he encountered during his playing life.
Boateng’s career was marked by setbacks, including being told he wasn’t wanted by his coach at Tottenham just ten days into his time with the club.
This experience sparked his desire to help young players avoid similar mistakes.
“Money or the fame or the big club is not always the right step to make,” Boateng stated.
“That’s why I said, I wanna bring it to my experience of always wanting to be there for my boys.”
“You have a Rookie & Champ player with eighteen. He’s ready for everything. He’s ready in front of fifty thousand to take a penalty.”
“If I had had that, I would play ten years straight around Madrid. Absolutely.”
Kelvin Prince Boateng played for several clubs including AC Milan and FC Barcelona.
