Bibiani’s Dun’s Park will stage the 2025 Champion of Champions match between Ghana Premier League winners Bibiani GoldStars and FA Cup holders Asante Kotoko on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

The fixture, which kicks off the 2025/26 Ghana football season, marks the first time the traditional curtain-raiser will be held at Dun’s Park; a reward for GoldStars’ historic league triumph last season.

The GFA confirmed the venue after a review by its planning committee led by Dr. Tony Aubyn, citing local readiness and the club’s rise to prominence. The showdown is expected to draw massive attention to the Western North Region, with home fans eager to see GoldStars defend their turf against giants Kotoko.

Both teams will be eyeing early silverware and momentum heading into the new campaign.
