Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has underlined the need for a strong response when his side face Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors will welcome their Matchday 20 opponents to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 25.
Kotoko head into the encounter on a worrying three-match winless run that has slowed their momentum in the title race.
Addressing the media ahead of the fixture, Zito urged his players to approach the game with full focus and determination.
“We have to take this game seriously, both technically and the players themselves. We need a positive attitude and to win at all costs,” Coach Zito said.
Basake Holy Stars arrive in Kumasi having managed just one victory in their last three league matches.
Their current run has kept them close to the relegation zone, increasing the importance of every remaining fixture.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm on Sunday.
