Ghanaian attacker Joseph Paintsil has signed a four year contract extension with KRC Gent until the summer of 2026, the club announced on Wednesday.
His contract was due to elapse this year after joining the Belgian side from Tema Youth in 2018. The 24-year-old has scored four times and assisted twice in the current campaign.
“In the first eight games of this season, Paintsil has already scored four goals and two assists! We are already looking forward to what else Joske can conjure up from his right foot.” The club posted on their Twitter handle.
