Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp has been awarded the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution by Crystal Palace as he prepares to leave the club after eight-and-a-half years.
Schlupp, who joined Palace from Leicester City in 2017, has made 247 appearances for the club, including 220 in the Premier League.
He ranks fourth on the club’s all-time list for top-flight appearances, showcasing his enduring influence and adaptability.
Schlupp has contributed several memorable goals for Palace, including a strike against Manchester City, a late winner against Bournemouth, and a long-range equaliser against Fulham.
Although he spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Celtic, Schlupp remained eligible for an FA Cup winner’s medal.
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish praised Schlupp’s professionalism, spirit, and friendship, describing him as the embodiment of the club’s values.
Parish commended Schlupp’s commitment, saying he consistently set a positive tone for others.
Schlupp received the Chairman’s Award and his FA Cup winner’s medal during a farewell visit to the club’s training ground, where he was warmly greeted by teammates and staff.
