Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay has shared his excitement after leading the club to victory in their game against Bibiani Goldstars.

The Porcupine Warriors prevailed with a 1-0 win over Goldstars at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ghana Premier League matchday 19.

Youngster Peter Amidu’s strike was enough for the Ghanaian giants to snatch the three maximum points in the encounter.

In the absence of Danlad Ibrahim and Richmond Lamptey, the former Medeama star led the Porcupine Warriors as captain.

However, Blay has taken to social media to express his joy after captaining the team to secure victory in the game.

“It’s a big honour to lead Asante Kotoko out as captain yesterday & I am glad we won. Team spirit got us the important 3 points and the Man of the Match performance”

“I‘ll continue to give everything to make this a very successful season #WeAreAsanteKotoko #BlayIsFabulous🔴⭐️🙌🏾” he wrote on X.

Asante Kotoko are second on the Ghana Premier League with 32 points after 19 games into the campaign.

The Ghanaian giants will travel to face Karela United in the week 19 of the domestic top-flight at the Naa Sheriga Sports Centre.
