In a recent interview conducted by Club del Deportista, Black Stars striker Iñaki Williams confidently asserted that his younger brother, Nico Williams, will dominate the football scene in the next five years.

Nico, who currently plays for Athletic Club, has been making significant strides in his career since joining the first team in the 2021-22 season.

The younger Williams has become an integral part of the team, demonstrating his skills in crucial matches such as the Copa del Rey against Atlético de Madrid in San Mamés. His impressive performance this season, with 24 games played, three goals scored, and eight assists in La Liga, has not gone unnoticed by his older brother.

Iñaki’s prediction comes as no surprise, given Nico’s rapid rise in the sport. After being promoted to the reserve team in the Segunda División B on 11 May 2020, Nico made his first team and La Liga debut on 28 April of the following year.

He substituted for Jon Morcillo in a 2–2 home draw against Real Valladolid, marking a significant milestone in his career.
