Ghanaian defender Wahab Ackwei has expressed his excitement after joining USL side Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
The 27 year old joined the blue and black lads from Rio Grande Valley FC.
Speaking the clubs media after completing the move, Ackwei said: “I’m super excited to join a well-organized and amazing team. I can’t wait to get started,” said Ackwei.
“Hopefully we can achieve something wonderful and celebrate with the amazing fans. Ready to fight for the badge!”
Ackwei previously played for Inter Allies, Richmond Kickers and New York Red Bulls II.
