Black Stars reveal schedule ahead of World Cup qualifier against Chad in Accra

The Black Stars have unveiled their official training schedule ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium. Head coach Otto Addo and his 23-man squad will engage in a structured training program to ensure they are fully prepared for the must-win encounter.

Training Schedule Overview

Monday, March 17, 2025 – Open Training Session

The Black Stars will hold their first training session at 5:00 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium, and the public will be allowed to attend. This session will give fans an opportunity to see their favorite players in action as the team begins its final preparations.

Tuesday, March 18, 2025 – Public Training at 5:30 PM

The second day of training will also be open to the public, but access will start from 5:30 PM. This session will likely focus on tactical drills and team cohesion as the squad fine-tunes its strategies.

Wednesday, March 19, 2025 – Closed-Door Training

From 5:00 PM, the Black Stars will have a private training session at the Accra Sports Stadium. With the match approaching, this session will focus on refining game plans and ensuring players are fully in sync ahead of the Chad fixture.

Thursday, March 20, 2025 – Final Preparations & Press Conference

• 4:50 PM – Pre-Match Press Conference: Coach Otto Addo and a selected player will address the media, discussing the team’s readiness and expectations for the game.

• 5:00 PM – Final Training Session: The last training session before matchday will take place, with only the first 15 minutes open to the media for coverage.

Friday, March 21, 2025 – Matchday (Ghana vs. Chad)

The Black Stars will take to the pitch for their all-important World Cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium. With Ghana currently second in Group I, a victory will be crucial in their push for qualification.

Just three days later, the Black Stars will travel to Morocco to face Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025.
