‘I never said President was in my pocket’ – former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi challenges Anas Armeyaw Anas

Former Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi has denied the public speculation that he had the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo in his pocket during the Number 12 expose by Anas Armeyaw Anas in June 2018.

According to Mr. Nyantakyi, it was all a “propaganda to tarnish his image” and to bring him down all the name of politics.

“You see the propaganda. I never said that, As Anas Armeyaw Anas to produce a tape where I said that. How could I have ever said that? disrespectful,” Mr. Nyantakyi told Starr fm.

“I never ever said that but I saw cartoons of Kwesi Nyantaki reduced into spider with Nana Akufo-Addo’s protruding in my pocket. It was very disrespectful.”

Nyantakyi resigned from his positions at the GFA, CAF and FIFA.

He was the Vice President of Confederations of African Football and a Executive Council Member of FIFA.
