I am confident about upcoming 2022/23 GHPL season – Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu

Great Olympics midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has said he feels ready and prepared for the upcoming 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League.

The former Asante Kotoko midfielder has joined the two-time Ghana Premier League champions on a six months deal ahead of the new season.

Having helped the Wonder Club to win the GHALCA G6 tournament, Badu says he is positive and feels ready for the upcoming season.

“At the moment, I am happy because we just won the GHALCA G6 and I am positive about the upcoming season,” he told Asempa FM.

The 32-year-old has joined the likes of Sulley Muntari, Samuel Inkoom, and Asamoah Gyan who have made a return to the local topflight.

Agyemang-Badu spent a majority of his career in the Italian Serie A with Udinese and had stints at Hellas Verona and Turkish side Bursaspor.

He played 78 games for Ghana’s Black Stars and scored 11 goals after helping Black Satellites win the FIFA World U-20 Cup in 2009.
