Hearts will head hunt for a new coach following the side’s failure to sign Tom Strand.
The Phobians were heavily linked with a move for the Medeama trainer but pulled out of the deal after failing to reach an agreement.
The Swedish trainer had been earmarked to take over the club after been picked ahead of two other experienced coaches.
But after the deal fell through, the club has confirmed it will opt for head hunting instead of short-listing potential coaches.
“From this period we are head hunting, we want a head coach that can transfer whatever knowledge he has in the game to our players,†club spokesman Opare Addo told Joy Sports.
“We are also looking for a young and energetic coach who will be able to do a lot for our squad, Hearts must be transformed and we must play an attractive football in our local league.
“We must be able to get back into the Champions League so we need so we need a coach that has a lot of experience.
