Hearts of Oak fans set to embark on nationwide demostration

Unhappy Accra Hearts of Oak supporters are set to embark on a demonstration in the coming days to express their displeasure on the mismanagement of the club and other matters.

The supporters are not happy with the results on the pitch this season and other decisions taken by the club’s management.

The Phobians have played three games in the Ghana Premier League this season. Hearts of Oak is 14th with 2 points in the league which is currently suspended. The Accra based club has lost one and drew two games in the league.

The club was eliminated from the Caf Confederations Cup by Malian club ASR Bamako. The Phobians were beaten 3-0 away in the first leg and won 1-0 in the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.

One of the supporters told Peace FM that the intended demonstration will be nationwide and they will not go to any match venue when Hearts is playing. The supporter named Wayo also told Dan Kweku Yeboah that they will stop buying the team’s replica jerseys.
