Ghana Football Association Executive Council Member, Randy Abbey, has praised the quality of football on display in Heart of Lions’ 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko.
The Heart of Lions President says the football sold in the Ghana Premier League week 18 game on Sunday was good exhibition for Ghana football.
Abbey said the determination to do win from his side was evident and they won deservedly.
“It was a very good game. It was a good exhibition of Premier League football. I think that we were very determined to win,” he told Max TV.
“We wanted to return to Kpando on a victorious note so that it can be the springboard that we require for further victories.”
The win was Heart of Lions’ third in four games since Bashir Hayford took over after having to wait fourteen games for their first.
That also means that they have also moved away from the bottom of the league for the first time in many weeks but are still in the relegation zone, two points away from safety.
They will next take on Great Olympics on Sunday, March 3, in match week 19.
