Hasaacas Ladies trainer disappointed with draw against Omnisports Etincelle

Deputy trainer of Hasaacas Ladies, Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah, expressed his disappointment in the goalless draw with Omnisports Etincelle in the WAFU Zone B championship.

The Ghanaian champions were held to a goalless scoreline by the Burkinabe side on Sunday at the Bouake Stadium in Ivory Coast.

Mensah, who stepped in the coaching role for Yusif Basigi said:The 0-0 for Hasaacas standard, for me, is not the best because we have once been to this tournament before.”

“We’ve been champions before and so the expectations were very high. But looking at how the opponent played, I think it was a fair result. They had more chances than us.

“I am very disappointed with the 0-0 but per how the game went I am okay.”

The Hasmal ladies’ next encounter is against Edo Queens of Nigeria on Wednesday August 14.
