GPL Preview: Bechem United aim to extend home resilience against Swedru All Blacks

Bechem United return to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday, December 20, 2025, hoping to build on a timely boost in their battle to escape the relegation zone.

The Hunters head into the clash against Swedru All Blacks after edging Eleven Wonders 1–0 at home last weekend, a result that eased pressure and lifted spirits in camp.

That victory came on the back of a narrow 2–1 defeat away to Dreams FC and has moved Bechem United to 13 points after 14 league matches.

Despite the win, Kobina Amissah’s side remain 17th on the table and are still searching for consistency.

Goals have been in short supply this season, with Bechem managing just 11 strikes while conceding 14.

However, their home form offers encouragement ahead of Saturday’s encounter.

At the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem have recorded three wins, three draws and only one loss so far.

They have also conceded just two goals at home, keeping six clean sheets in seven matches.

Their only setback on home turf was a 2–1 defeat to Hohoe United on Matchday 12.

Bechem United will be counting on that defensive solidity as they face a Swedru All Blacks side sitting comfortably in mid-table.
