This summer is a huge one for the future of Man United as it is the first transfer window that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS will oversee.

The British businessman has had his 25% takeover of Man United approved and is ready to get to work in order to take the Manchester club back to the top of English football and the European game.

Speaking at his press conference on Thursday, Erik ten Hag has admitted to being “very happy” about what he has seen so far from INEOS as they continue to install key figures into important roles behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

When speaking about these new figures coming into the Manchester club, Ten Hag has said via Fabrizio Romano: “I’m very happy in this construction.

“At Man United you can’t do everything alone and so you need very good people around you.

“I am happy, but a club like Manchester United absolutely need it.”

The Dutch coach also addressed the summer transfer window as it will be a key one for the future of Man United.

“We are working on the plans for the summer transfer window,” Ten Hag said via Fabrizio Romano.

“We plan in this construction what we have in the club and for the future, it’s crucial to be on same page.

“At Man United, you always need to look for better. Good is not good enough.”

Ten Hag appears to be very excited about the future of Man United following the arrival of Ratcliffe and in turn, this will instill some optimism into the fans of the Red Devils.
