Ghanaian youth midfielder Derrick Mensah misses Banik Ostrava league game with injury

Ghanaian youth midfielder Derrick Mensah was forced to sit out of Banik Ostrava’s 3-1 defeat against Slavia Plague in the Czech Republican top-flight with injury.

The 20-year-old missed the game with a leg injury which he suffered during training in mid-week.

Mensah was ruled out of the game along with team-mate Michal Frydrych who also had an injury.

The former Tema Youth midfielder is expected to recover in time and play for Banik’s next league game next weekend.

While he was missing the game, his Ghanaian compatriot Francis Narh played the entire duration of the game for Banik.
