Ghanaian striker Richmond Gyamfi has officially joined Danish Superliga side AGF on a five-year deal.
The transfer marks a significant feat in Gyamfi’s career, after ending his stint with Hobro IK.
“Richmond fits into our “style of play”. He is fast, has good physicality and is a skilled finisher. He gives us some x-factor and has a forwardness to his game that is unusual and impressive and we look forward to bringing him into the team,” the club said.
“We have followed him intensely in the spring and are very happy to be able to welcome him to AGF, where he can now continue his positive development in our framework and release his talent even more, says sports manager at AGF, Stig Inge Bjørnebye.
The 19-year-old impressive performances in the Danish First Division caught AGF’s attention, showcasing his potential with 3 goals and 4 assists in 13 appearances for Hobro.
His debut for Hobro came on February 25, 2024, against FC Fredericia.
