Ghanaian forward Edmund Baidoo scored and provided an assist for Sogndal in their 2-0 win at home over Kongsvinger in the Norwegian top-flight campaign.
The hosts took the lead from a Felix Eriksson goal, which was assisted by Baidoo’s pass in the 26th minute, giving them an advantage before the halftime break.
Baidoo doubled and sealed the victory for the hosts 15 minutes before the end of the game.
As a result, he earned a rating of 8.1 from the sports website Flashscore after the game at the Fosshaugane Campus Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 18-year-old forward has featured in 14 games, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in the ongoing 2024 Norwegian top-flight campaign.
After the win, Sogndal moved to third position with 23 points after 14 games, just two points behind league leaders Kongsvinger.
