Ghanaian forward Douglas Owusu has sealed a €2.7 million move to Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade from FK Radnik Surdulica.
The 19-year-old attacker has signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Owusu’s impressive form, scoring seven goals in 20 league appearances, caught the attention of several European clubs, including Young Boys, Samsunspor, and Al Ahly.
However, Red Star Belgrade emerged as the winners, beating competition to secure his signature.
This move positions Owusu for continental football and enhances his growing reputation in European football.
He joins Red Star Belgrade’s squad in Antalya, Turkey, where they’re holding their mid-season pre-season camp.
