Ghanaian duo score for Crystal Palace in win over Crawley FC

Ghanaian duo Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp were on target for Crystal Palace in their 6-3 away win against Joseph Wallacot’s Crawley FC in a pre-season friendly.

Odsonne Édouard opened the scoring for the English Premier League side in the 2nd minute, and two minutes later, Jesuran Rak-Sakyi doubled the tally.

Daichi Kamada scored the third goal for Palace in the 11th minute, and Rak-Sakyi completed his brace in the 27th minute, giving them a strong advantage before the halftime break.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy hit a twice, in the 50th and 60th minutes, to narrow the deficit for the newly promoted English League One side.

Ayew scored the fifth goal in the 65th minute before Jack Roles pulled one back for the hosts.

Schlupp, coming off the bench, scored to seal the victory for the visitors at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday.

Ayew and Schlupp are expected to maintain their key roles for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, while Joseph Wallacot is expected to keep the number one spot for Crawley in League One next season.
