Black Stars defender Daniel Opare had his marching orders in Standard Liege’s 1-1 stalemate at Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday evening.
The 23-year-old was cautioned in the 9th minute for a bad challenge and 12 minutes after the break, he was sent off after he received his second yellow card of the evening.
After Opare’s exit in the 57th minute, Liege had another man sent off but they managed to hold Anderlecht and snatched a point from the game.
Ghana winger Frank Acheampong played full throttle for Anderlecht in the game but failed to find the net.
