Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah thanks Sellas Tetteh for guiding career take-off

Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah was at the Liberty Park to see his mentor Sellas Tetteh.

The 24-year-old was part of a talented crop that emerged World champions at U20 level under the guidance of Tetteh in 2009.

Most of the players from the 2009 Black Satellites team form the core of current Black Stars squad.

Mensah just like many others from that talented crop went on to secure moves with several top flight European clubs.

The former Evian TG defender went back to say a thank you to the man who have him the chance to showcase his talent to the world.

“Caught up with the man who made me and many others World Champions in 2009,” Mensah said in an Instagram post.

“Sellas Tetteh has been immense for my career.”
