GFA settles outstanding fees owed match officials – Kurt Okraku confirms

President of the Ghana Football Association Association, Kurt Okraku has confirmed the settlement of all financial payments owed competition winners and outstanding fees owed to match officials.

The GFA Capo said this in his speech at the maiden GFA Awards.

The announcement was to address media reports over the speculated Association’s failure to pay outstanding fees to referees and match commissioners.

“The GFA end of season Awards aim to recognize and reward not only players but also individuals and entities that have contributed significantly to the growth and development of football in Ghana,’ Kurt said.

“This includes coaches, referees…who work tirelessly to support our beloved sport.

“I am also happy to announce that the FA has successfully paid up all prize monies that is due all our competing winners as far as the just ended football season is concerned and that includes we paying up our match officials.” he concluded.
