Samartex 1996 have captured the signature of Baba Kushibo on a two-year deal
The deal includes an option to extend for a further year as the Timbers remain keen on strengthening their squad for their Africa challenge.
The 26-year-old scored four goals and provided three assists in the league last season.
Samartex take on Victoria United in the first round of the CAF Champions League.
The team had already began preparations for the tie which is slated for August 16.
