Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo insists the club can escape relegation, even after a difficult start to their Ghana Premier League campaign.
The team sit bottom of the table with just 6 points from 13 games, leaving them seven points away from safety.
But Aidoo, barely two weeks into the job, believes there is still time to turn their fortunes around.
“We are on a mission, and it is not over until it is over. We lost the last match, but we will keep on working hard until we get it right,” he said, stressing that composure in front of goal remains their biggest priority.
He added that the team has been working heavily on finishing, set pieces and overall organisation ahead of their weekend clash against Bechem United.
Aidoo is the club’s third coach this season following the exits of Nii Odartey Lamptey and J.E. Sarpong. In his brief spell, he has overseen one win—a 2–0 victory over Dreams FC, their first of the season—and one defeat, a 2–0 loss to Swedru All Blacks.
As the league heads toward a crucial stretch, Aidoo says the squad’s mentality is improving and believes one positive run of results could spark a revival.
Wonders face Bechem United away on Sunday as they continue their fight for survival.
