Head Coach of Black Stars, Otto Addo is determined to increase the winning rate of the Ghana’s senior male national team.
Addo returns to the coaching job for the second time after taking over from Chris Hughton, who was relieved of his duties following the team’s disappointing performance at the Africa Cup 2023 in Ivory Coast.
He signed a long-term contract with the Ghana FA, initially for 34 months with an option for an additional two years.
“We have to be honest to ourselves, the last two AFCONS, we didn’t do so well…In the end, it’s impossible to predict if you win or lose but my aim and the aim of the whole coaching staff is to increase the probability that we win,” He said.
“For this, we have plans, we have ideas,…we want to execute them on the field.”
Coach Otto Addo and his coaching staff first task is against Nigeria in an international friendly on Friday.
