Black Stars gaffer Otto Addo is eyeing a good start as they face Nigeria in an international friendly on Friday.
The encounter happens to be the first test for Addo following his second coming back to the senior national team of Ghana.
Otto Addo took over from Chris Hughton, who was relieved of his duties following the team’s disappointing performance at the Africa Cup 2023 in Ivory Coast, where they exited at the group stage.
“It’s going to be tough for sure but surely we can and we know how to play against such a hold and even though they went to the (AFCON) final, they showed also during some matches that they are vulnerable so anything can happen…I just hope that we get a good start and we can end this game as the winning team.” Addo told GFA media.
After the game against Nigeria on Friday, Ghana will engage Uganda on the 26th of March.
