The Black Galaxies have secured a big advantage in the first-leg of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers following a 3-0 victory over Benin.

Early in the second half, centre-back Mohammed Alhassan pounced on a loose ball in the eighteen yard box to double Ghana’s lead.
Gladson Awako,the captain of the team, got the third goal to seal the victory for coach Annor Walker’s side at the Cape Coast stadium.
The second leg of the clash is slated for July, 30 and the winner on aggregate will face Nigeria in the next round.
