Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo says the $ 70,000 ban placed on the club has been lifted following widespread reports.
Hearts were fined a hefty sum after failing to comply with a directive to pay New Edubiase $70,000.
The ban was enforced under Article 15(1)(c) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, prohibiting Hearts of Oak from making singings.
The ban enforced by the Ghana Football Association took effect on May 31 after the deadline for payment elapsed.
However, per the latest development, Public Relations Officer of the club, Opare Addo has refuted the claims.
“There was a transfer ban on Hearts of Oak related to Salim Adams transfer but the issue is been resolved, allowing the ban to be lifted, he told Asempa FM.
The news comes as a much-needed respite for the club who are looking to rebuild their team under new coach Didi Dramani, who took over the reins from erstwhile coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
