Bofoakwa Tano head coach Frimpong Manso says his side “will not underrate Accra Lions” despite their poor form in the Betpawa Premier league.
The newly promoted side take on the Lions in a week seven fixture at the Sunyani Coronation park.
But the visitors have been struggling in the campaign, losing three consecutive games and conceding 10.
However, coach Frimpong still believes the Accra-based side are “technically good” and could cause havoc to his team.
“I see them as a very good team, technically, they are one of the best team in league, if you allow them to play, they keep processing of the ball, because of their philosophy they don’t have any pressure, they make players for the European market and with that the have defenders who are comfortable with the ball,” He told JoySports.
“They understand that, so for them I will not underrate them, despite their previous three games consecutive defeat and say they are not good, they are a good side and I respect them alot, so we need to work above and beat them.”
The Sunyani-based club have 10 points and sit third on the league table after week six.
