Bechem United forward Emmanuel Avornyo is optimistic ahead of their matchday 7 showdown with Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Bechem recently put an end to their four-game winless streak with a victory over Berekum Chelsea, and they are hoping this marks a turning point in their season.
Avornyo acknowledges the challenge they face but emphasizes that their preparation isn’t limited to just the upcoming match against Kotoko.
“Preparation is okay. We are prepared towards the league, not just only Kotoko. It’s true they are a side in good form but we are also not a bad team as well. Everybody knows Kotoko is a very good side. They are a good, strong team.” He said in an interview with Kessben Sports.
He also highlighted the importance of focus and team effort, saying, “Going into a game like this, we just have to focus. We are really focused about the match. It’s not just me but the whole team.
