Birmingham City has confirmed the loan signing of Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
The 21-year-old, who was recalled from his loan spell at Auxerre, joins Birmingham as their third loan signing from Brighton this season, following James Beadle and Eiran Cashin.
Osman, a right-footed winger capable of playing on either flank, is expected to bolster Birmingham’s attacking options and provide competition for Demarai Gray and Patrick Roberts.
Osman, who joined Brighton in 2024 from FC Nordsjaelland for £16 million, has previously had successful loan spells at Feyenoord and Auxerre, making 32 appearances for the Dutch side and scoring three goals.
Birmingham City’s sporting director Jason Ayto praised the move, saying it’s a good opportunity for Osman to continue his development in English football.
