Manchester City’s new signing Antoine Semenyo is set to miss their UEFA Champions League clash against Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday due to eligibility issues.
The Ghanaian forward joined City from Bournemouth after the Champions League squad submission deadline, making him ineligible to play in the competition until the next registration window opens.
Semenyo’s impressive start to life at City, scoring twice in his first three appearances, will be put on hold as his team looks to bounce back from their Premier League defeat to Manchester United.
City currently sit fourth in their group and need a positive result to guarantee their place in the round of 16 .
