Besiktas and Fenerbache interested in Genoa striker Caleb Ekuban

Ghana’s Caleb Ekuban is on the buy list of Turkish clubs Besiktas and Fenerbache according to reports in Italy. Caleb Ekuban’s current team Genoa was relegated and he has started looking for a new club.

The Ghanaian striker was recommended to Besiktas again at the end of the season, according to Valerien Ismael’s request, the transfer will likely take place this summer.

Fenerbache is planning to rebuild their attack with Ekuban for the new season.

Caleb Ekuban had a bad stint with Genoa he played 33 games this season, only scoring 2 goals and 2 assists.

Before joining Genoa during the January transfer window the former Chievo player featured for Turkish club Trabzonspor.

He initially joined Trabzonspor on loan and on 1 July 2019, Trabzonspor made the loan deal permanent and signed Caleb Ekuban for three years.

Ekuban made 32 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig for Trabzonspor during the 2020/21 season. He scored ten goals and assisted four.
