The double Ghana goal king scored his eight goal of the season on Sunday to go top of the scorer’s charts and has declared he will not relinquish it as he looks to play his way into Milovan Rajevac’s squad.
“I know with two major tournaments coming up that the best way to make my case is to keep scoring goals,” he told KickOffGhana.com. “If I keep scoring then I am always confident my call up will come.”
Bekoe has been frustrated by the lack of opportunities with the Black Stars as he has been constantly overlooked by Milovan Rajevac.
But he has gone about his goal scoring business with efficiency for Petrojet in Egypt to add to his growing reputation as a fine finisher after he twice took the top scorer’s title in Ghana.
