Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene, the Communications Director of Bechem United, recently disclosed the club’s aspirations of representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League in the upcoming season.
As it stands, the Hunters are in second place on the league table for the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, three points behind league leaders Aduana Stars with 29 games played.
During an interview with Citi Sports, Atuahene shared the team’s goals and expressed satisfaction with their progress. He stated that Bechem United had a plan to reach the Champions League or Confederation Cup level within a short period, which they started three seasons ago. Atuahene believes that everyone involved in the plan is playing their part effectively, and it’s only a matter of time before they achieve their goal.
The team will play their next match against Medeama SC on matchday 30 at Akoon Park on Sunday, with the game set to kick off at 15:00GMT.
