Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of midfielder Saaka Dauda from Bofoakwa Tano
The 24 year old inked a three-year deal with the Poccupine Warriors until 2027.
Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his excitement about the new addition to the team, highlighting Dauda’s leadership and technical skills.
“Saaka Dauda is a player of remarkable talent and character. His ability to influence the game both offensively and defensively makes him an invaluable asset.”
The former Bofoakwa Tano captain shared his enthusiasm about joining Asante Kotoko, stating, “Joining Asante Kotoko is a dream come true for me.”
He ended the season with 8 goals and 3 assists and also helped Bofoakwa Tano to the finals of the MTN FA Cup where they lost to Nsoatreman FC.
With Dauda’s signing, Asante Kotoko have made its seventh acquisition this transfer window, strengthening their squad for the upcoming season
