Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko run the risk of falling into the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League standings if the team suffers a defeat in their next game.
The Porcupine Warriors over the weekend travelled to Dawu to take on the in-form Dreams Football Club.
At the end of an entertaining contest at the Theatre of Dreams, Dreams FC posted a 2-0 win over Asante Kotoko to bag three crucial points.
That defeat meant that Asante Kotoko had not won a single game in their last six matches.
With just one point picked from a possible 18, things are not looking good for the Reds in the Ghana Premier League table.
The Kumasi-based club is now 11th on the league table and has 33 points after playing 26 matches.
The gap between the team in 16th (relegation zone) is just three points.
There is therefore the possibility that Asante Kotoko could drop into the relegation zone if the team fails to beat Samartex FC in their next outing.
Ahead of that big game, assistant coach David Ocloo is confident that the team will end its winless run.
