Asante Kotoko have decided to discontinue their interest in Ghanaian attacker Elvis Bernard Addae.
The 23-year-old forward, who plays for AS FAN of Niger, had been on Kotoko’s radar ahead of the ongoing transfer window.
However, indications now suggest the Porcupine Warriors have pulled the plug on negotiations.
The decision means the Kumasi-based side will not pursue a deal for the striker this window.
It is understood that officials are said to be prioritising the signing of a different striker before the registration window shuts.
The deadline for transfers is set for Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Strengthening the forward line remains a key objective for Kotoko as they prepare for the second half of the 2025/26 campaign.
