Ghanaian football legend, Asamoah Gyan has landed a role as a pundit for SuperSport TV at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The former Sunderland star made his debut alongside former England striker Michael Owen as they analyzed the Three Lions opening Group B game against Iran.
The 36 year old makes a return to the South-African broadcast giants after covering the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Cameroon.
Gyan, who is not yet officially retired from football is Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals in 109 appearances.
The former Black Stars captain has played in three World Cup tournaments in 2006, 2010 and 2014.
The 22nd edition of the Mundial has been scheduled to kick off from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar.
