In-form Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo was on target for AFC Bournemouth as they defeated Southampton 3-1 in the English Premier League on Monday.

Semenyo scored his third goal of the season, helping his team secure a convincing win at Vitality Stadium.

Evanilson opened the scoring in the 17th minute, thanks to a quick free-kick by Marcus Tavernier.

Dango Ouattara doubled the lead just 15 minutes later, making it 2-0 for Bournemouth.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis pulled one back for Southampton in the 51st minute, but it was too little, too late.

Semenyo’s impressive performance has been a major positive of Bournemouth’s season so far, with three goals and one assist to his name.
