Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu has been named to the Ligue 1 Team of the Week after leading AJ Auxerre to a 3-0 victory against Brest over the weekend.
Elisha scored his first goal of the season and provided an assist, which earned him the Man of the Match accolade.
His impressive display puts him alongside top talents such as teammate Jubal, PSG’s Achraf Hakimi, Clinton Mata of Olympique Lyonnais, and Diego Moreira of Strasbourg.
Rounding out the team are Bradley Barcola (PSG), Angel Gomes (Lille), Jonathan David (Lille), Junya Ito (Reims), and Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka.
The 26-year-old has played six games for the Blue and White outfit this season, with one goal and one assist to his credit.
