Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker has given an update on the team’s preparations ahead of Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament which will be held in Algeria next year.
The squad have been training at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram for the past two weeks in readiness for the tournament which kicks off on Friday, January 13, 2023.
“I think we have been here for the past 10/11 days and we started training and at the weekend we had our first friendly game against a second Division team called New Town FC and won 7-0. We continued our training and today we had another friendly match that we won 4-1“ the manager said in an interview with GFA Communications.
“I am not looking at the results but performance and the game plan that we are strategizing to play. For me it’s working but we are not there yet” he concluded.
Ghana is pitted in Group C alongside Madagascar. Sudan, and Morocco.
