Raphael Onyedika scored a brace as Nigeria maintained their perfect record in the Africa Cup of Nations, beating Uganda 3-1 in their final group stage match.
Onyedika’s goals, assisted by Samuel Chukwueze, came in the 62nd and 67th minutes, adding to Paul Onuachu’s 28th-minute strike.
Uganda’s consolation goal came through Rogers Mato in the 75th minute.
Nigeria dominated the game, registering 2.46 expected goals (xG) from 13 shots, while Uganda managed just 0.76 xG from nine shots.
The win sees Nigeria top Group C with nine points, while Tanzania and Tunisia also qualify for the knockout stages.
