Andre Ayew has joined Dutch Eredivisie strugglers NAC Breda on a contract until the end of the season, with an option for another year.
The 36-year-old Ghanaian forward, who was a free agent after leaving Le Havre, is looking to revive his international career and boost his chances of a Black Stars recall for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ayew, with 120 caps and 24 goals for Ghana, brings vast experience to NAC Breda, currently in the relegation zone of the Dutch league.
He’ll add scoring prowess and leadership to the team, having played for top clubs like Marseille, Swansea City, and West Ham United.
This move could be a stepping stone for Ayew to regain his spot in the Ghana national team, having last featured over a year ago at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
