Accra Lions goalkeeper Frederick Asare is being pursued by Asante Kotoko

According to kickgh.com, Asante Kotoko is leading the race to sign goalkeeper Frederick Asare from Accra Lions as a successor for Kwame Baah, who has completed his contract with the Ghana Premier League champions.

According to the report, Asante Kotoko has officially requested the services of Accra Lions’ goalkeeper.

Asare became one of the best goalkeepers in the division after keeping 13 clean sheets in 28 games for his team in their debut campaign. As a result of his impressive play, he was called up to the Black Galaxies to help them prepare for the CHAN qualifier later this month.

The talented goalkeeper earned accolades for his outstanding performance in goal during Accra Lions’ 1-1 draw with Kotoko at the Accra Sports stadium last season.

Asante Kotoko is currently trying to strengthen all positions in the team ahead of their CAF Champions League and Ghana Premier League campaigns.
