Bofoakwa Tano continued their incredible run in Zone One as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Young Apostles at the Sunyani Coronation Park. Zlukunani Shaibu netted the first goal for the host in the 23rd minute before Samuel Okai doubled the lead in the 62nd minute. Husseine Issah scored a late consolation for Young Apostles in injury time but it was too late to win them a point as the whistle blew for the end of proceedings.
Elsewhere at the Golden City Park – Berekum Arsenal pip B.A United 1-0 to boost their survival chances. Adama Mohammed scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute after both sides failed to take their chances in the first half.
Shakuun Toraah scored the match winner at the Malick Jabir Park where Wa Suntaa pip Maana FC 1-0. The forward netted in the 53rd minute after both sides failed to make good use of the chances that came their way in the first half.
Zone One A leaders Eleven Wonders will play against Kassena Nankana FC at Ohene Ameyaw Park on Monday.
