Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey had to replaced in the starting line up after picking up an injury during the warm up of the international friendly against Brazil on Friday.
The 29 year old was pulled out as a precaution by the medical team after he complained about some discomfort, Kickoffghana understands.
Further tests are expected to be carried to determine the full extent of the injury.
Mallorca midfielder Iddrisu Baba has replaced him in the starting line-up.
Ghana and Brazil are currently facing off at Stade Oceane in Le Harve, France.
